not needed today, thank you
This is the village tap I referred to when I blipped the Charlbury fountain. It was provided for the village by the then duchess of Marlborough, until the arrival of piped water the villagers had to walk to Ruddy Well, quite a long way from the old cottages, for those who didn't have a well. It must have been really difficult to sink a well in this stony, crumbly soil.
There's no need for a tap today, water is pouring from the sky.
