Sourdough

Second successful sourdough loaf, although this time I wasn't so sure as the dough was so sticky after the first knead, wouldn't come off my hands. At the end of the first prove though it was just right and the second prove didn't slop over like a cow pat either.

Made the loaf at the end of the day ready for Monday when our friends come around. Previously we'd been to the gym, I'd mowed the grass and we'd been under pressure to find medical requirements which were urgent and were eventually temporarily resolved. A quick trip to the allotment brought some raspberries, beetroot, beans and cabbage and allowed me to plant out some lettuce.
