Spot the ball

A long day at the Haldane United Youth Football Festival in Alexandria.

This is KK's debut game with his new team Red star. This is also his debut goal with that team in his first match. He is seen here having just headed the ball straight into the net. OK I missed the ball from the shot but I am surprised I even got this. If you look at the eyes you can work out where the ball is.

A good day for all, 3 games won, one drawn and one lost. Lots of dirty play including a fight between parents and ref but we'll just ignore that. Not an easy tournament but it's all an experience for us and for him. I think we may be back.

PS there was a fab old building beside the pitch which was an old car factory then a torpedo factory. I couldn't resist going for a look. See extra. The cars at the front was a car boot sale. Inside there was an amazing marble stairway and now some shops and a great café.
