Village show update

Despite the wet afternoon the show was its usual success. It's great to meet people you haven't seen for ages, one being someone I went to school with and have only met once since leaving.

Out of all my entries I got two firsts - one being this quilt, and a photo of an up turned boat in Lindisfarm used as a shed. The thirds were for the lemon curd and a photo of last years village show. I was told that if I had mounted one category correctly I would have won in that category too. So quite pleased.

Teaching this morning and that went ok. We have two more months to finish this quilt which will be good, then I think we will try some day workshops.
