Industry.

Well I've been slaving away in front of a laptop but it's nowt compared to this fella.

I say "fella" because I'm pretty sure it's a male Buff-tailed Bumblebee (Bombus terrestris. Of the ten or so pictures I took this one isn't the best to show just how ragged his wings are. I when I looked at the images on the laptop I was amazed. This guy has been clocking up the hard yards!

I seem to profess my love for many things on this blog but Bumblebees are out in a special class of ultra-love (along with otters, grayling, sunsets etc.).

Getting excited about three days in Llanidloes this weekend...
