Treasured Possession

This pretty teacup lived on the mantelpiece of our family cottage in Mid Wales and as a child I always admired it, only being allowed to touch it once a year when everything on the shelf was washed or cleaned before being put back again. I have no idea how old it is or where it came from, and it never had a saucer - but now it lives on the top shelf of my china cabinet.
