Through the arched window....

Another mixed day . The contractor arrived to start carting dung down the road to the fields going into winter barley. Some years we do it our selves, but it is a slow job with our trailers. He has a JCB Fastrac with a 20 ton trailer, so should take half the time.
Littlemiss playing hockey at Dollar Academy this morning but they lost 2/1.
Spent the afternoon carting straw home before it got burnt or bales burst( only 1 burst one by the time I got there) by the local neds.
The village fete today where Littlemiss got a first prize for her Rio themed cup cakes. This was followed tonigh by a BBQ at the village hall, in the rain !
The blip is of the old archway behind the village looking towards the fete tents. Think it was part of the Knights Templer in the past.
