Starlight Hike

Tonight 4 of us joined hundreds of others for the Sue Ryder Starlight Hike to raise money for our local hospice, Manorlands.  Rain had been pouring down all afternoon, and the weather prospects didn't look good.  We were on the second "Starlight Express" from Oxenhope to Oakworth from where we commenced the 10k hike, We left the train and the rain stopped!  Just a quick shower as we reached Manorlands where these photos show the hospice lit up with stars, and the starlight avenue leading to an area where we could write a dedication to a loved one on a star and peg this up.  A great walk for a super charity.  My arthritic foot is now giving me a lot of pain, but it was worth it!
