Tekapo township

From the top of Mt John we had a grand view of Tekapo township, at the southern end of Lake Tekapo.

From Mt John there was also a spectacular view towards the northern end of Lake Tekapo, as the clouds rolled in. Motuariki Island is clearly to be seen.  That image is in extras.
