Famerly and Laughter

Spent the day 'recovering' from yesterdays and Friday nights exertions.
As EmilythePemily is back for the first time since Christmas I decided to issue summonses for Tea, proper Tea that is with side plates and cup and saucers and Ladies and Gentlemen.
Not much arm twisting was needed as Henry wanted to see 'Emerlee' as he calls her.
4.30pm on the dot everyone duly arrived tea much bantering and exchange of news. Henry 'helped' by getting things of the trolley and handing them out fairly and very quickly .
He hasn't quite understood 'No thankyou darling' takes offence so you have to eat it. He also likes to touch and inspect all goodies. I said thinking he couldn't hear me 'Why don't you lick it before you put it back?'
'O.K. granny' he says happily, licked it and put it back. We all fell about ... he got quite angry luckily not with me but for some reason Scarlett 'IT'S NOT FUNNY STOP LAUGHING'.
We couldn't..... understandably... we didn't eat that cake.
Emily was in charge of tea
Scarlett asks for another cup, Emily takes her cup and stood there finishing off a conversation with her sister for about 30 seconds ... Scarlett (who you must understand is not quite of this world) Gets up and takes the other cup (Emily's own Tea) and says 'Thanks Darling'... Emily speechless we laugh so hard Scarlett 'What?'confused ,we draw breath and explain sets her off. I'm still laughing now at the both of them
