Sunrise

Sunrise is not something I see very often in summer. The days are getting shorter however so this is a season when I have a chance of seeing the sun rise from time to time.

An early flight saw me heading out in the dark, and the plane taking off at 6 am just after sunrise. The picture is taken just after take off and we are still over the city.

A short distance from the beach several support vessels can be seen at anchor.
