Birch Shield Bug

A busy morning - two loads of washing - made bread - cut out a top to match the skirt made earlier.  Helping KG tidy up the debris from cutting the hedge.  Felt something climbing up my leg and looked down and found this shield bug.  Have seen quite a few green ones but not a nicely coloured one like this.  KG held it while I went in to get my camera and surprise he was still there when I got back out.
Watched the race result a bit disappointing.
Mostly overcast today but dry.
