Canoe sprints at Eton Dorney
Quick snap of Rachel Cawthorn racing to the line and victory in her opening heat. Didn't manage to get a picture of her crossing the line as I was a bit busy shouting and cheering along with everyone else.
Despite the previous weeks drama of the main rowing regatta the atmosphere was still amazing with huge crowds and everyone cheering along.
Nice to be at one of the main Olympic venues and seeing all the hard work and efforts of the volunteers and the organisers are the paying off. No fuss, no problems with transport or long queues at security thanks in no small part to the top notch job being done by the armed forces. A fabulous effort by all involved and fantastic to see that GB can pull off something on this scale in front of a global audience. Well done one and all, and here's to the rest of the week and the Paralympics to follow!
