Bexhill Festival of the Sea
This takes place early September on an annual basis. Lots of stalls selling sea related food and accompanying beverages. I had a wild boar sandwich - salt marsh wild boar, I reckon. There's live music, beach fishing casting lessons and this live demo from Billingsgate experts on how to prepare different species of marine life for the table. This was gurnard. The lady, having removed the fillets, was taking out the pin bones with tweezers. All very clever and nice, but I think on balance I'd rather have fish and chips, Palestine that I am. :-)
