A celebration drink!

This 2006 bottle of Dom Perignon was 'obtained' by Jon recently! No need to get into the circumstances relating to the 'obtaining' but it's here and we opened it tonight to celebrate the young men going off to uni soon. They're out with their friends tomorrow night, which will be their final night in HK so we had our family meal tonight, with this very fine bottle of bubbly. The label is actually lit up! The bottle has a button on the bottom that switched it on and off!

I was really brave at church today, and held it together. Pastor and the elders prayed over Ben and us and it was really heartfelt. And so many of our friends came and wished Ben well and gave him cards and lai see.

Other friends asked if the boys were available for a meal, and it was hard to say no when they wanted to wish them well. So we did meet up at the Plaza for drinks and nibbles. It really was lovely. And touching to hear them express their gratitude for Ben's faithfulness to church and playing his bass. Martin and I are truly moved. What lovely friends we have.
