Echinops

Today was always going to be slightly deflating given the excellent time we had last week with the family on Islay.  We addressed that by looking ahead and listing the things which need doing.  It is a lengthy, daunting list.  I'll make another one.

There are little signs of autumn around.  The rose hips are turning to a vivid red, the fennel leaves are turning brown and the annuals are beginning to look tired.  The bees are still busy though.
