Reflection - new beginning

Almost a month since my last blip... It has not been an easy month for several reasons, not least the fact that Lucie has now left for her year in the US.  She is only 16 and the thought of her having to travel all alone to a different continent, with 2 changes of planes - and then having to negotiate all the practicalities once there - was stressful. She seems to be coping really well and I do think that it will be a great experience for her but I really miss her. 
So this last month was a whirlwind of preparations and good-byes, and as she also was in Les Miserables at the fringe, rehearsals and and shows! Lots of emotions!
Anyway - now the place is a lot quieter...
