The Opening Of Winterfest

Took a trip into Glasgow with two of my kids to see the opening of Winterfest and the fireworks were brilliant , which is more than can be said for the performers on the stage ( God bless them they tried on a very cold night).
It took me back to when my oldest was born , nearly 20 years ago , and the look in her eyes at the Christmas lights was great to see . Must admit though the rendition of the Singing Kettle brought back nightmares of having it played on a video non stop for what seemed like years on end . Somehow , somewhere in the deep dark depths of a cupboard im sure that bloody video is still lurking around.
