Let's go to the pictures

First in an occasional series of movie  related blips.
If I am honest, it may be the only one. Especially from around here.
You may recognise this as the phone box from the 1983 film, Local Hero. Or you may not.
It has been moved from it's original position and place here. I don't know when they moved it, but move it they did.


 Some extras from Pennan where it is situated. It is only 5 miles or so from here we stay, and is incredibly beautiful.  The child on the beach belongs in the boat picture. Him and his brother swam from the boat to the shore. His brother is somewhere in the picture of the boat.
