Thanks

to my smashing blip pal https://www.blipfoto.com/CarolineJay for this lovely printer's tray.
I'm intending to use it for one of my pieces for the St Mary's project.
It's always a fight with me to paint wood... but this was a bit water damaged and the backing is only hardboard (trying not to think about the beautiful dove tailed  corners under the paint and the bits that looked like real wood :-(

A mis-placed loyalty to mahogany becomes a hommage to the Madonna - imaginary headline!!!!)
You have to imagine the bits along the bottom as the North Sea... the bits down the left will be Seaham Dene, the first big space from the left on the top row will be the church... the far right will be Ryhope Dene, and the other spaces will be field boundaries... I know I know it's hard to see  for me too - but hang in with me for now... x
