Stop over in the Lake District

We drove up to the Lake District, rain nearly all the way. We had booked place for the first time, Swarthmoor Hall, a historic Quaker Hall which opens its doors to all (as you would expect). What a beautiful place and good value too. This is a quick phone shot of the room as the weather really was appalling but we managed to see Tom there and then took him out for a lovely Italian meal and caught up on all his news.
