What a lovely way to spend a birthday!    On the water.   It was a very pretty day but still no wind and the 4 of us ( most responsible people!) had decided to make it back  back in time today for our island AGM, held in the afternoon sunshine on a neighbor’s deck.    I’ve made myself get into the habit of a selfie once a year on this date so here's the record for this year.on the Salish Sea.. Actually Islandcat  took it… we are on the deck with cameras looking for whales which do roam this water.  But no such gift today! (or they would have been the blip for sure!)


A lovely wee sailboat trip… unfortunately the sails were up for maybe 30 minutes before the calm descended but we had a wonderful time out with friends anyway… thank you, C and P!  and a lovely birthday dinner (early).
