back side of Nanaimo

I drove my daughter to the Departure Bay ferry terminal in Nanaimo. On the drive home I stopped downtown where I visited a couple of book stores. Then I went in search of the community bike store. I wanted to buy a front fork for my Rocky Mountain Fusion. It has front shocks. But I find the bike too heavy with the shocks. While walking the streets in search of the bike store, I saw the back of a row of dilapidated buildings.

The photograph was taken through a chain link fence. Eventually I was able to walk into the backyard, but the photograph doesn't show as much as this one.
