First Flush

The Magnolia growing on our neighbour, Judy's property is in full view of our kitchen window. Today a big bank of dark grey clouds rushed up from the south and dumped a burst of very heavy rain. We got the washing off the line just as the rain started to pelt down. That shower was most welcome as the garden is starting to get very dry almost to the point of us needing to turn the irrigation system on. I suspect we are in for a very dry spring.
