Ness of Burgi

Sunday on Shetland, my last day this trip. Still summer here, it seems. Warm and sunny morning on Scat Ness with lively waves despite nae wind. Go figure. This is the entrance to the Iron Age Broch, one of my favourite places. I have had a wonderful 7 weeks here, 50 nights, my longest block of time here since I began visiting in 2007. Hoping to be back very soon.
