Thief

Thievery is becoming bolder in my little bucolic community! My front porch security camera today captured the image of  a young lad in the act of lifting a recently delivered item from my stoop. 

The image of the nefarious robber is a bit fuzzy, but his shoes certainly seem clear and eaily identifiable. Apparently, he was not interested in keeping the contents of the package. He dumped the open box and its contents in the next door neighbor's yard. The box contained two large bottle of hummingbird nectar.

The visitor's lime green tennis shoes may be helpful if authorities wish to pursue the perpetrator.

The incident is a bit disconcerting, if for no other reason that we heard a noice about the time indicated on the security picture. We chose to ignore the disturbance.

Ah, such is life in a modern world.
