Going Home

A sea safari today.

4 hours on a wee boat bouncing around on various bits of the Atlantic. It was wet and windy, so lots of fun.

We did see quite a lot of a minke whale off the west coast of Scarba, so a successful trip. Two sea eagles and plenty porpoise as well.

The sun came out as we headed home.

The skipper (a marine biologist) gave us his views on Brexit, along the lines of getting rid of the EU "red tape" being an end to the kind of environmental legislation which protects the marine environment he'd just showed us.

It reminded me of Local Hero. The best movie ever made (in Scotland, anyway).
