Stop buggin' me

After yesterday's manic sewing, I almost posted this cute photo I took of the homemade underwear I whipped up, but.....I decided to blip one of the photos I took of a bug this morning. It literally dropped on my shoulder while I was doing the dishes. I have no idea where it came from because I have never seen one like it. I think it might be the first stages of a ladybug.

Anyone know?

Anyhow, I took him outside and put him on some of my columbine leaves and holy smokes he was thirsty. He kept grabbing the water droplets with his front legs and pulling them to his mouth. It was fun to watch. I need a steadier hand though. Or the L series lens with the IS. (wink...wink.....)
