Mid field...

We had a power out today... scheduled... from 9 until 4pm (supposedly) but it didnt come back on again until 6.. and it was a dark and overcast day to boot.  No mobile as the local mast also went off and so the local coffee shop and garden centre became my haunt for the day.  I have bought myself a lovely new rose (Generous Gardener) so will have to get that planted soon.  In the meantime the men appear to have done a lot of chopping down of trees to clear the lines.. general maintenance stuff. perhaps our lights will stop flickering so much now!
(rather a rubbish photo but rather liked that they had put up a 'men at work' sign for the llamas (i imagine)!
