Light at Loupia

As I got back from work this evening we were just moving into dusk. The bell tower of our village church stood out against the fading sky along with some of the taller monuments of the nearby cemetery. 

The bells ring out the hour every hour and again a few minutes later, day & night. And three times a day, 7.10am, ten past mid-day and 7.10 pm, they also play what I am 99% certain is an Ave Maria. Just as we learnt to get used to the aircraft noise back in Isleworth we hardly hear the bells at all now, even at night with the windows open when we are no more than 50 metres as the crow flies.
