Christmas final touches

Finally got around to getting the Christmas tree and other decorations out today. Hubbie helped to get the boxes down when home on his lunch break but that was as far as his help goes most years. Besides I'm not sure how the tree might look if he decorated it anyway!

He left me to it just as a letter dropped through our box (Queenie tell Calum thanks, used to love doing that job as a kid).
I actually forgot how long it takes by the time you assemble the tree and put on the decorations plus had to catch up on last nights X factor!

We always had a real tree when I was growing up put my husband and I bought a fairly realistic fake one a few years ago because of our cats. Thankfully this year Marbles just had a quick look and sniff and left me to it. A couple of years ago I got a great picture of her in the tree like one of the decorations!!!
