First night shoot

It may look like it all went well on my first night shoot... It didn't! Here is a list of the things that went wrong and you have to remember I knew about these things from YouTube but in my excitement.. forgot them .
1) No torch.. couldn't see a bloody thing.. dials etc.
2) Auto focus does not work in the dark.
3) Have a sturdy tripod.. mine had legs like Bambi cause I couldn't be bothered bringing the heavy one..
It didn't help trying to take pictures by the poolside at 10:30 as it was still hot and my lens kept fogging, also I was sweating buckets as it's hot here in Menorca.
All in all I was like Jerry Lewis.. what a state I was in. When I got back to the room Lynne seriously thought I had fallen in the pool.
Better prepared next time.
