Hornsea

After checking out we travelled to Hornsea and visited the Outlet Retail Park – a little retail therapy never did anyone any harm! We then had a pleasant half hour at Hornsea Mere (the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire) chatting with other visitors and capturing some photos of the birdlife congregating close to the water’s edge. We had a very uneventful journey home. Today’s blip comes from the Mere – this Swan spent all the time I was there preening .

We didn't have any access to WiFi whist away so back blipping for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Will try to catch up with comments over the next couple of days.
