A Dam Fine View

Pyramid Peak viewed from the top of Diablo Dam, part of the Seattle City Light Skagit hydroelectric project. The view of Diablo Lake from the overlook on Highway 20 isn't too bad either.

We took our visitors B and L up there today, stopping for lunch (and brews) at Birdsview Brewing Company. There were a lot of humorous signs about beer at BBC -- you can see a couple in this photo. Also visible is the charming bartender, Jessie.

BBC is very easy to find. Just look for the Beer Crossing sign on the right side of the highway, near the small town of Concrete.

The views (and BBC beer) were worth the long journey -- about 200 miles round trip.
