As yesterday was Hiroshima Day I'd read a class the story of Sadako, and today we attempted to make some paper cranes.
I seem to remember doing this some years ago and having no trouble, but the only online tutorials I could find had quite complicated instructions.
Anyway, after far too long we came up with something that approximated a paper crane.
You'll note I haven't blipped mine.
During recess a lovely, but unassuming boy popped in to the library to show me what he'd made. I had no idea we had an origami expert in the class.
I wish he'd spoken up earlier:)
