Tiny Tuesday - blossom
I was incredibly lucky today to be granted a day of Professional Learning. The fact that the place was a good two and a bit hours' drive from work meant that SG and I got to spend a lot of time chatting and enjoying the sunshine and views and just a short time actually working. Even the working wasn't real work, it was wonderfully enriching professional conversation, which has given us both a bit of a rev up.
We ended up taking a half hour break, sitting on the sand, looking at the sea and generally relaxing before she got behind the wheel to drive us back. What a wonderful friend, colleague and general all round human being she is.
I got home just in time to take Cousteau to the vet's with Mr B. He has been off his food and generally lethargic for the past few days. We've all been very worried about him.
They've prodded and poked him and stuck things where no-one wants things stuck. We'll find out the results tomorrow. In the meantime, it's shredded chicken and boiled rice for the little trooper.
If you pray, please keep him in your prayers. If you don't then please spare some healing thoughts and send them his way.
This little blossom is so delicate and beautiful. The fact that my faithful hound was by my feet as I was taking the photo is a bonus.
Night all.
