Dog Cart
Al and Liz were over for the day, so we indulged in the traditional bout of eating and a little bit of drinking. All summer we've had pretty good weather but each time we see them, either at their place or ours we always seem to have poor weather. It was no exception today; warm but cloudy and humid.
We were planning to go to the beach and have afternoon tea by the seaside but in the end went to Tenterden to have a look at the rather interesting Tenterden and District Museum at which this blip was taken. It's a Dog Cart but the information suggested that it wasn't pulled by a dog, rather that it could accommodate a dog under the seat, which seemed a bit tenuous to me.
It appeared that the passengers sat back to back on this cart, giving rise to the phrase "do se do" which is the name of a common step in country or barn dancing. So I learned something today.
We were planning to have a barbeque this evening but that was scuppered so it was hot dogs inside, but not the less enjoyable for that.
