Fabric flowers

This project took quite a while to do, and not actually sure i'm finished yet! The stems are made from large(ish) sticks and twigs I collected while walking through the park.The flowers themselves are made from long strips of material, folded length ways in half, with a running stitch along the crease. The strip was then cut to produce roughly petal like shapes before being wound around the sticks to make a roseey sort of appearance. They really brighten up my kitchen! And the best part, is that my complete innability to keep real plants alive doesn't matter with these! :)
