Whitby railway viaduct
We took the full NYMR journey to Pickering, had lunch there in a tiny cafe, and had a good look round Pickering Castle. For a modest supplement we travelled first class - a nice reminder of how it was in the days when we couldn't afford it.
My blip is a view of the elegant disused viaduct across the Esk on the way back into Whitby. Mrs P is reflected in the train window.
It was another great sunset (extra blip); I don't know if it was just the weather while we were there, or if they are a Whitby speciality. Of course, the north facing coast helps.
