Expats Rule
I had to call Telekom about the teen's mobile contract (I guess it's my name on the contract so if it needs changing I get to do it, joy).
I rang, spoke with the automated thing and got dumped into a queue and told the waiting time was 15 minutes (free, but listening to someone else's choice of muzak is not my idea of fun). Then I remebered hearing the introductory voice saying something about an English option. I redialed, put on my bestest English accent and voila, straight through, no queue.
