Tree pot

I don't know who cares for this tree stump, but I love the wee displays of flowers that I pass here on my way to work throughout the year. Perhaps someone will do something similar with the most recent tree casualty on the Meadows?

We're still working our way through research student progress meetings. I had another two today, and my last one is on Friday. My other planned meeting today was to discuss a new research project that starts next month. Around these commitments I squeezed in some teaching prep, answered email, and caught up with colleagues and students who popped in and out of my office on and off throughout the day.
