Tiny Magnifyers
Day off today but the morning didn't look very promising.
The clouds were lying low over Campbeltown this morning.
When we checked the weather forecast it looked as though it would be better north of Campbeltown so we headed off to Tayinloan to have a walk on the beach then back towards Campbeltown for a lunch stop at Glenbarr.
I had a lovely time on the beach and even made a few sketches of the derelict boat on the beach and looking out towards Gigha.
Sorry to say our lunch stop at Glenbarr was disappointing.
We waited for what seemed like ages for someone to take our order so in the end we decided to leave and have lunch at home.
I saw this little feather on the beach at Tayinloan and I was fascinated by the way the little water droplets were acting as tiny magnifying glasses revealing the details of the feather's structure.
