Whiteface Sky Race

Another summer, another sky runner series race in the books with Louise and her father. This course was a bit more straightforward than last year's Rut in Montana (had to wear my Rut shirt for with my post race beer). 

Despite really difficult conditions including heavy rain, dense fog and incredibly muddy terrain we made it through. Louise picked up a sprained ankle only about 5 miles into the race, but she gutted out the remaining 10 miles and about 4,000 feet of vertical to finish the race. Talk about tough.
