Margo

Gerard Burns' wonderful portrait of Margo MacDonald , commissioned and donated by her husband Jim Sillars, was unveiled in the Scottish Parliament today.

It is Margo to a tee - just ready to tell you what she thought or how wrong you were in what you thought. I had been getting that from Margo since 1987 and it often did me the world of good.

She is greatly missed in the Parliament where she was a very strong influence.
