Year 1 & new floors!

First day back for C into year 1 today. He was so excited to be going back to school and had his uniform and shoes on before I even made it out of the shower!

He went into his new classroom and settled in without a backward glance which was lovely to see him so happy. A big kiss for C and off R & I went back home.

R and I enjoyed getting back to Little Quavers with our friends Julie & Amelia. R put her newly learnt walking skills to good use joining in the songs!

Work on the new wooden flooring we have been having put down in our hallway and dining room continued and by teatime was all finished - our flooring man has done a wonderful job and we love it!
