Grass Spider

 
I opened my little medicine cabinet this morning to find a grass spider fiercely guarding my toothpaste.
Holey moley did he ever startle me.
It’s a sure sign of the approaching seasonal change.
I suspect this fellow would much prefer to be doing guard duty outdoors on the arbor vitae shrubs.

Needless to say, I complimented him on his excellent overnight service performance.
Then, I helped him with an immediate outside duty station reassignment.
