A Very Large Sculpture.

This sculpture is part of the SWELL sculpture festival.  Most of the exhibits are on Currumbin beach, not quite sure why this one is here.

I couldn't find out who the sculptor was or what it was made from, to me it looked like either material or plastic.  I think you could lay inside it and look up, but I wasn't game to do that.

The festival has been going since 2003, when they had 6,000 visitors viewing 23 exhibits.  Last year they had 265,000 to view 55 exhibits.

My nephew Nick Horrigan, exhibited his sculptures in the early years.  I'm pleased to see his name is still there in the history of the festival.
