George Washington Bridge

I was driven to NYC today by our friend Cynthia, who was returning from a couple of weeks at her cottage in Maine to her home in the city.  She was glad to have help unloading her substantial baggage, while I was glad to have a chance to take some photos from my passenger seat--this one from the West Side Highway as we were passing under the mammoth bridge.  You may see some moiré  effects along the vertical cables.  Otherwise I'll have a chance for a bit of museum-going--more on that tomorrow :)
