the batphone

our first attempt to find something in the rented apartment worthy of a blip appearance.
The batphone (complete with a ring which would summon the man himself) is the obvious choice. It's one of the interesting things about living somewhere different for a while - you're not sure whether this is a typical phone in the States or just like the rest of the stuff in the flat - a relic from a bygone age...

Maybe tomorrow we'll contrast the radiogram record-player (size of a sideboard) with the i-pod and travel speakers...
