Matilda visits a castle

or at least what remains of one. 

I popped down to Lullingstone Castle to check out a little project I want to do. The castle is only open at weekends but I was surprised at how many cars still park outside. Had to crop hard on the right to hide one.

This is the old gate house, the manor house can be seen through the arch and the local parish church, St Botolph is to the left.

It was good to have the run out even if I'm finding hard to miss the pot-holes down the country lanes...
